CHAMONIX GREYWACKE PINOTAGE 2014 • $30.79
“Reviewed in 2015, but still available in the market, this partially ripasso-style (of refermentation on skins) is unique in the Cape. Light in colour, but has the grip of skin contact, zippy acidity, sweet red berry fruit and savoury tannins. Complex stuff. Drink: 2016-20.” - Tim Atkin MW 93 points
THE CHOCOLATE BLOCK 2015 • $29.99
“Now made entirely with Swartland fruit, most of it from Porseleinberg, this blend of 71% Syrah with support from Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Viognier is something of a cult blend. This is one of the best releases yet: floral, spicy and cleverly oaked with undertones of lavender and thyme and very smooth tannins. Drink: 2016-20 finish.” - Tim Atkin MW 93 points
